Wonder
A name that holds three worlds. Amaze — wonder, what takes your breath away. A-MAZE — a maze, the path that loses itself in curves and finds itself at the centre. MAZE — the real maze, the one of grapes becoming wine, step by step, in the dark of the cellar, in the silence of waiting. This is how our AMAZE wines are born: from Tenuta Asinara, in Marina di Sorso, where the Sardinian sea meets the land and the salty wind shapes the vineyards. A place where every bottle tells more than a grape — it tells a journey.
Vermentino DOC is the identity card of our coast: when you taste it, you know where it comes from. The grapes ripen between the first and second decade of September, fifty quintals per hectare — a yield that forces choice, to leave behind what is not ready. We produce only three thousand bottles a year: every cluster that enters the cellar has been looked at, touched, chosen. It is not a number, it is a promise.
The maze
Here too, as with all AMAZE, the path is one of absence of oxygen: from harvest to bottle, every step protects what the grape has built under the sun. The press is soft, the closure Nomacorc. In the dark of steel, the must transforms without losing anything: neither the memory of apricot and peach, nor the flash of pineapple, nor that saline vein that comes from the sea and stays in the wine.
The landing
In the glass it is pale yellow, luminous. The aromas are intense and persistent — they do not fade, they stay. On the palate it is full, pleasant, long: a wine that does not end at the first sip, that asks you to wait, to come back. We bring it to the table with fish, with raw seafood, with everything that needs something that tastes of the sea without covering it. Serve cool, between 6 and 9°C — and let it tell its story.
